White Flag
It is hard to swallow our pride, especially when we have worked so hard and given so much to our cause. But for many around the world and especially in Guatemala, we are in a moment of great need. Because of the world-wide impact of the COVID-19 virus, Guatemalans have been forced to stay home, not work and yes….raise their White Flag.
Now they find themselves in the perilous situation of having no means of earning an income. They have been forced to humble themselves and ask for help. Many streets are lined with homes displaying this symbol of surrender. Worse yet, in many of these homes, are children and elderly already suffering from malnutrition.
We have currently served over 200 families with the help of generous donors. For around $60.00 we are able to provide an average family of 5, enough supplies for around 2 weeks.
